Corona Virus COVID-19 Statement – Medifit Design & Construct OPEN FOR BUSINESS

In light of the current Corona Virus (COVID-19) situation, we would like to reach out and let you know that Medifit Design & Construct are OPEN FOR BUSINESS, operating as per the Federal Government’s recommendations with the following infection control protocols.

  • All non-essential travel including trade shows has been cancelled until further notice
  • We have implemented a social distancing policy and encourage meetings to be conducted virtually (via Zoom, Facetime or phone as appropriate etc.)
  • All visitors to Medifit Head Office must have a booking

We are bound by the following policies:

  • All employees (and site based subcontractors) who have returned from overseas annual leave are to remain in self isolation for 14 days, in accordance with the current Australian Government policy.
  • Employees must report immediately to management (and site subcontractors to the appropriate Local PM), if they have been unwell in the last two weeks.
  • They must report immediately to management (or site subcontractor to the appropriate Local PM), if any member of their family has contracted the virus or are recovering from it.
  • They must report immediately to management (or site subcontractor to the appropriate Local PM), if they are showing any signs of flu like symptoms, contact their doctor and get tested and discuss necessity for self-isolation at home to prevent spread of the virus.
  • They (including site based personnel) must wash hands frequently with soap and water.
  • They (including site based personnel) are encouraged to frequently use hand sanitiser stations provided within the workplace.

Medifit is committed to the health, safety and well-being of not only our employees and their families, but also our customers. Our supply chain remains unaffected at this stage, and current and scheduled projects are progressing as usual.  If anything changes to affect this, we will communicate these updates with you.
